Hello and welcome to my blog “Divageekdesigns.com” since you clicked here I assume your interested in knowing a little bit about me.. so I’ll start by telling you what I do for a living.. I work for an email archiving and web hosting provider.. mainly for the Financial industry and I’m also a freelance web designer.
I’ve been writing online for 7 years. I started my first blog or “journal” at LiveJournal.com I started this blog alomost a year ago and this blog is powered by WordPress.
Since starting this blog I’ve fallen in love with Wordpress! So you’ll find that I post a lot of Wordpress themes that I’ve found online. I test all the themes I recommend first and I use the TAC Wordpress Plugin which scans all theme files for potentially malicious or unwanted code.
I’m not only a tech geek I’m also what I’ll call a “media” geek (Movies, Music and TV)…so I post a lot of celebrity pictures and celebrity gossip.
What does “DivaGeek” mean? It just means that I’m geeky girl. There’s not as many women in technology as there are men but we are here and just because I’m a geek doesn’t mean I look like Ugly Betty.
I like to think that I’m 25% Diva and 75% Geek.
